Deanway
In the beautiful
Kent countryside of rolling hills and apple orchards, the Moon Family have
lived at Deanway since the 1940's. There was always an interest in animals
and today there are horses, chickens and sheep on the land. Ann Moon
always had a particular interest in dogs and after owning Clumber Spaniels
for many years, began the Deanway Kennel in 1976 with her first
Sussex Spaniel, Oldholbans Holly. Since then there have always been Sussex
Spaniels at Deanway.
More recently Ann's interest in
Irish Setters brought
her to her first Irish Setter "Rosie" Millcroft Silver Moon at
Deanway.
Ann endeavours to breed for temperament and
type and she is a member the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder
Scheme. She believes in the responsibility of
breeding healthy stock.
Ann
